    Sandy Cohen

Sandy directed home assessments, service and quality control for a large, East Bay-based home attendant care company as its Chief Operating Officer for thirteen years.

During the prior decade, she co-founded and administered an East Bay Medicare-certified home health agency specializing in the care of the chronically disabled, served as Western Division Adviser of staffing relief and home health, and specialized in medical management of worker’s compensation and catastrophic injury cases in the insurance industry. Prior to that, she worked in emergency services, intensive care and other departments of acute care hospitals in the Bay Area, Florida and Canada. She also was a member of the start-up team for a hospital-based substance abuse program in the East Bay.

In addition to her nursing license, Sandy has a B.A. in Management from St. Mary’s College in Moraga. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers and the Rehabilitative Insurance Nurses Group.
