Our expertise, advocacy and support are available to you for the short-term or on an ongoing basis. We can help you determine, plan and access what is needed in your unique situation. Then we can oversee the progress of your plan and help you make adjustments as needed.

Trying to manage the elder care of a family member on your own can be confusing, stressful and lonely. Our elder care managers can support you with individual consultation and guide you through the caregiving process. We can provide liaison with service providers and other family members, and advocate for you within medical and social service systems. As you strive to balance caregiving with other parts of your life, you can have your own professional coach.

What is a Professional Caregiver?

Cohen Cormier's home attendant providers/caregivers have many years of experience in caring for others. Our caregivers are available to you for the short-term or on an ongoing basis. Our goal is to provide those with service whoh have diminishing capacities and choose to stay in their own homes.

Caregivers assist with:

• bathing, dressing, grooming, incontinence care, transfers, use of walker or wheelchair
• medication reminders
• meals, light housekeeping, laundry
• transportation to appointments
• shopping and errands
• comfort and companionship

Supervision is provided by a Care Manager (nurse or social worker) as part of the hourly cost of home care.
