  • Consultation

Some family members, who have problems related to their role in the care of a relative, may want a sounding board or a mentor. They may need to resolve some issues before arranging an assessment and plan of care.

Others want help adjusting to changes they need to make when their caregiving role is changed within the plan of care.

Some families seek help determining appropriate and acceptable roles for various family members.

For these and other purposes we offer short-term consultation as needed. This consultation is intended to help individuals clarify care-related or personal issues. The more comfortable each involved family member is with the direction of their elder’s care, the more likely the whole family will contribute to and benefit from the unfolding of the plan of care.
